Selam, Neighbor!

Thank you for your interest in Prophetic: The Public Theology Fellowship. This fellowship is energized by three main goals. First, we seek to encourage the vision and practice of public theology in Ethiopia and other majority-world contexts. Second, we aspire to improve the quality of ethical, faith-based imagination and leadership in our public life. Third, in both, we exist to love God and neighbor for our mutual flourishing.

Prophetic aims to connect globally respected and locally emerging faith leaders, scholars, and practitioners. Our inaugural fellowship took place over twelve weeks from February 1 to April 26, 2025. Our sessions typically lasted for 90 minutes.  

We’re not currently accepting new applications. But if you are interested in being part of a future cohort, we would love to get to know you – your heart, your convictions, and your goals. For this reason, we kindly ask that you answer the following questions as honestly as possible. We are eager to read through your responses and get a glimpse of who you are. Expect a reply soon!
